Why downloading a fan-made indie visual novel route guide for Fairy Gift totally flips the school simulator genre on its

Imagine failing your final high school exams so spectacularly that your angry dad promises to dump you straight into the military boot camp. That is the exact nightmare driving Fairy Gift right now. The protagonist is completely desperate, looking for any possible loophole to fix his ruined grades and patch things up with his teachers.

What makes this project super special is its engine choice. The author literally built this entire text adventure inside RPG maker just as a wild experiment to see if the engine could handle a choice-driven story loop. It is actually a spin-off fanfiction script based on the Project Bathyscaph universe, featuring the exact same characters but thrown into a chaotic, comedy-filled school setup. Every single attempt the main guy makes to solve his academic problems totally backfires on him until a literal miracle happens out of nowhere.

If you just mindlessly click through the dialogue boxes without following an optimized indie visual novel route guide, you will completely miss the hidden stats checks required to unlock the best companion choices. The development process here is moving fast, and the indie community is already sharing secret tips on how to salvage your playthrough when your relationship scores drop. It is a brilliant, unpredictable fan-made title that shows how much passion independent creators can pack into a lightweight framework.

honestly the dialogue choices are surprisingly deep for a first-time engine experiment. the protagonist is such a lovable idiot who messes up every single choice.

Wait an interactive story built entirely in rpg maker?? that is a crazy engine choice for a visual narrative lol but the project bathyscaph fanfiction script tie-in makes it a mandatory download for me. hope the romance routes get super chaotic :D
