Each character loves gifts.

If you have offended someone, then just ask him “How are you”, and if you have in your inventory something this character likes, you will be offered a choice: give this gift (and increase the current relationship level with this character +5) or not.

Hey! Bear in mind, if you put Merchant in prison, the Princess will not talk to you, and no gifts will help! :D
